Since 2001 the Sir Ross and Sir Keith Smith Fund has provided sponsorship funding to the South Australian Space School (SASS). This funding has allowed SASS to invite NASA astronauts from the USA to Australia to educate our secondary students about aerospace, conduct public lectures and present at conferences attended by students, academics, professionals and the general public.

On April 10 2008 Australian Executor Trustees held a cocktail function in the honour of James (Jim) F. Reilly, (II) (PH.D), NASA Astronaut.
